16 original elements of the Berlin Wall erected on the Place du Luxembourg  in the European capital city as a temporary installation from November 09th - 30th 2009. This followed an appointment of the Belgium government and invitation by prime Minister Herman Van Rompuy. All EU employees and several thousand visitors were able to encounter the historical relicts of the Berlin Wall for the duration of the exhibition
